Meditation Series for Beginners

 This Series meets once a week for 4 weeks, each class
will be 1-1/2 hr. There will be time for Sharing, Q & A
and to help eliminate any obsticles that may come up. Each
 class builds onto the next so you can build confidence to
have your personal practice. Learn Postures, Breathing Methods,
Stretches, Qigong, and there will be many Meditation
methods to embrace in this series. Something for everyone.
Learn how to set up your own space at home, with
 personal prefrences, Alters and more.

Yoga for Beginners

Find out what everyone is talking about and attend this
2 hour workshop that covers some of the Yoga basics to
help you get started. This strong fundamental intro is fun,
safe and easy to follow. Yoga poses enhance your balance,

Namaskara (Sun Salutation) Workshop

The poses within the Sun Salutation series contain a wide
range of movements: Stretching the hamstrings,
forward bends, lengthening the spine, grounding the feet,
strengthening the upper body, back bends, creating more arm
endurance, expanding the lungs and more. This is an ideal way
 to warm up the body before more involved poses. Or, to slow down
the sympathetic nervious system to relax. Sun Salutation allows
 us to center ourselves and quiet our wandering mind -- while strengthening and relaxing our body.

Hip Openers Workshop

This Workshop will focus on yoga postures in both sitting and standing
that aide in opening the hips. Asanas will be
systematically presented
in order to thoroughly address the variety of muscle groups in this
 beautifully
complex area of the human body.
Learn movements designed to open and free the hips, release and
lengthen the leg muscles. This will allow for a greater range of motion
in twists, forward bends and balancing poses

Maximize your flexibility with straps and blocks! Yoga Props
 can offer you better postures and increased range of motion.

Blocks are a very useful Yoga Tool. Use them to ground
 your lower hand in standing postures, or to sit on for steated poses.
Straps provide support when you ease deeper into your Asanas.
Learn to use the wall for stability, helping balance and
